Where to Park for a Live Oak Bank Pavilion Concert
The most important thing to know: There is no parking at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Not a little. Not some. Zero. Here's where everyone actually parks.
Your Two Best Options
Skyline Center Garage (The Metropolitan Parking Deck)
Right next to the venue on Harnett Street. About a 5-minute walk to the entrance. $20 on show nights. This is the closest deck and fills first. If you want this one, arrive early.
Cotton Exchange Lot
About a 10-minute walk from the venue, closer to the heart of downtown. $35 on show nights. More expensive but puts you right in downtown's restaurant and bar district, which makes the pre-show dinner and post-show drinks plan easier.
Pre-Book Through ParkWhiz
The venue has partnered with ParkWhiz to let you reserve a deck spot in advance. If you don't want to gamble on availability, book ahead. Especially for sold-out shows.
Street Parking
Metered street parking on surrounding streets. Enforcement varies by location and time. Good for a smaller weeknight show. Don't count on it for a sold-out Saturday. Note from the venue map: roads around the venue close during shows, so street parking closest to the venue may not be accessible.
Rideshare
Drop-off is at the corner of Harnett and 3rd Street. Signage and a traffic controller will be there. After the show, walk a few blocks away before requesting a ride for a shorter wait and lower surge.
Accessible Parking
First-come accessible spots on Harnett and Nutt Street marked by blue traffic cones. Accessible drop-off at the main entrance on Harnett Street with a tent and chairs. Guests can wait while the driver parks at a nearby deck.
The Best Move: Park Downtown and Walk
- Park in any downtown deck around 5-6 PM
- Eat dinner at a downtown restaurant
- Walk the Riverwalk to the venue
- After the show, walk back downtown
- Grab a drink and let the post-show traffic clear
Getting Out After
7,500 people all leaving at once. Budget 15-20 minutes. If you parked in a deck, expect a line to exit. Or hang downtown for a drink at Hi Wire or Wilmington Distillery and let it clear.
