Winnie's Tavern has stood on Burnett Boulevard near the Port of Wilmington since 1962, opened by World War II shipyard welder Winnie Hansley Swanson. The Trailer Park Burger has been featured on the Cooking Channel's Best Thing I Ever Ate, and the building's exterior was used as the Slow Club in David Lynch's 1986 film Blue Velvet.
