DESCRIPTION:<p>The 15th annual Surfalorus Film Festival runs August 7 through 9\, 2026\, across Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington\, presented by the Cucalorus Film Foundation. The festival opens Friday\, August 7\, at 8:00 PM at Surf City Surf Shop in Wrightsville Beach with Wahine Shorts\, a program including High Tide Low Tide\, Breaking Softly\, Aloha\, The Sea and She\, WHOMP\, and Fishery Bay: A Community Rising. Saturday\, August 8\, at 8:00 PM the festival moves to Jengo's Playhouse for Jack Johnson: SURFILMUSIC alongside R&aacute\;n: A Scandinavian Surfing Saga\, and closes there Sunday\, August 9\, at 5:00 PM with Kingdom of the Evening and Fun Island. This year Surfalorus partners with the <a href="../../../../events/wrightsville-beach-wahine-classic-2026/">Wrightsville Beach Wahine Classic</a>\, one of the East Coast's premier all-female surfing competitions\, for a combined weekend of surf culture. Individual tickets are $10 and a full festival pass covering all three days is $15.</p>
