Poplar Grove Plantation hosts its Full/New Moon Ghost Tour on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Guided by Poplar Grove staff, the roughly 90-minute tour shares the history of the spirits said to linger in and around the manor house, tenant house, and grounds, from as early as the Colonial period through the 20th century, with a Scroll of the Dead provided and time to focus on particular rooms. Cameras and paranormal equipment are permitted, and there's no guarantee of activity, they stir at their own leisure. Tickets are $25 plus taxes and fees with advance online booking required, only 16 spots per tour. Arrive at least fifteen minutes early.
