The 4th annual Cape Fear Pop Culture Fest, presented by Collectors Crusade United, fills the Elks Lodge with vendors selling comic books, retro video games, Pokémon cards and other trading card games, collectible toys, anime items, vinyl and physical media, and nerdy arts and crafts. The fest hosts its first cosplay contest, run by Wilmington Cosplayers Unite, with adult and kids entries due by 3:00 PM. Food trucks LVL UP Coffee and Dirty Taco & Mas are on site, and door prizes include Pokémon poster and trading card sets plus gift certificates from local shops. This year's sponsors are Right to Left, Game Giant, and Memory Lane Comics.
