The Fleet Feet Battle for Independence kicks off at 7:30 AM on July 4 at The Pointe at Barclay. The timed 5K is $42 and the untimed 1-mile walk/run is $30, with both prices going up after July 2. The course is flat and runs along the Gary Shell Cross City Trail on Independence Blvd.
