Three Wilmington congregations are joining together to host an extraordinary weekend of sacred storytelling with international performers Davide Bardi and Paola Balbi. Through dramatic retellings, conversation, and reflection, we’ll explore how story shapes faith and community. “David and Bathsheba” A passionate, visceral retelling of the biblical story of desire, betrayal, loss, and redemption. Drawing on medieval Italian “Sacra Rappresentazione,” the performance blends research with improvised, embodied storytelling.The audience is drawn into the intimate, turbulent world of David and Bathsheba as if witnessing events firsthand.
