Everyone loves a parade! Enjoy the glory and splendor as the NC Azalea Festival Parade, filled with huge balloons, beauties and marching bands, follows a one mile route on North Third Street through historic downtown starting on Market Street and ending on Bladen Street. Celebrate Spring Southern style! A tradition since 1947, this annual parade, viewed by hundreds of thousands, is filled with floats, marching units, bands, clowns, and horses all highlighted by visiting celebrities like the Azalea Queen, the Azalea Princess and her Court.
