Joe Kopple &\; Wild East Band performs at the Sunsets\, Food Trucks\, &\; Live Music Concert Series at Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area on Friday\, August 14\, 2026\, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Food and drinks come from City BBQ\, Something Cool Ice Cream\, and Good Hops Brewing.
\nThe free\, family-friendly series is presented by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce with support from the Town of Kure Beach\, and runs on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of July\, August\, and September 2026. Pack chairs or a blanket for the lawn and grab dinner from the food trucks while the sun goes down. A golf cart shuttle from the parking area to the stage is provided by Bazen Golf Cars.
