Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area Welcome Home Celebration

Join Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area at the Welcome Home Celebration for 82 World War II, Korean, and Vietnam War-era Veterans as they return from their memorable day in our nation's capital. The community is invited to welcome these local Veterans home at the Aero Center Wilmington hangar, a private FBO located on the Wilmington International Airport (ILM) campus. Bring signs and flags. The flight is scheduled to land around 8:15 and the private charter will pull up to the hangar for the Veterans to deplane and parade through the hangar. Free parking will be available in the overflow parking lot across from the ILM Shuttle Lot, or in a nearby location.
