Three sisters reunite after the youngest commits a violent act in the classic Beth Henley play. The southern gothic Crimes of the Heart takes place in 1970’s Mississippi and explores isolation, expectations for women, family trauma, and the strength of sisterhood in turns comic, heartbreaking, and timely. Join us for this poignant show that attests to survival, women’s resilience, and the importance of laughter in the face of tragedy.Event will take place in UNCW's Cultural Arts Building in the Mainstage Theatre. No late seating. House opens 30 minutes before showtime.
