Celebrate World Labyrinth Day

Enjoy a worldwide celebration of walking, reflection and contemplation that began over 4000 years ago. Unlike mazes, labyrinths have no wrong turns so a single path has a series of twisty turns until reaching a centering place. Many people choose to “Walk as One at 1” creating a rolling wave of peaceful energy. Experience one or both of Wilmington's two, five circuit, brick 20 foot Medieval Labyrinths: one located in Wrightsville Beach's Harbor Way Gardens and a Wheelchair Accessible one in the Specialty Contemplation Garden at the New Hanover County Arboretum.  Come walk or roll, reflect and emerge refreshed.
