This event is open to all Leadership Wilmington Alumni and the Class of 2026.
The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina (the Food Bank) is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for our friends and neighbors facing hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina for over 40 years. The Food Bank is an affiliate member of Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger relief charity.
Join fellow alumni to GIVE BACK of your time to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina from 2:00-4:00pm. Projects include:
Sorting bulk produce into family size bags.
Sorting donations from retail stores such as Food Lion and Harris Teeter.
Cleaning and bagging drink pouches.
Sorting and inspecting food drive donations from individuals and corporations.
All participants are required to register directly with the Food Bank. Once you register with the chamber, a separate link will be provided via email.
