2026 - Career and Leadership Development Academy District-Wide Showcase

The Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Career and Leadership Development Academy District-Wide Showcase, an evening of celebration and recognition for the industry partners, educators, and students who have made this year's program a tremendous success.

The top 24 students projects (3 teams from each of our 8 middle schools) will showcase their projects. The 3 overall winners will be announced at this event and will receive Live Oak Bank savings accounts with 3rd place winning $250, 2nd place $500, and 1st place $750!

The Academy has significantly expanded, offering ALL New Hanover County Schools 7th graders, along with selected 8-10 graders, the opportunity to participate in immersive, hands-on career experiences. Thanks to the generosity of our industry partners, students explored career pathways, developed leadership skills, and connected with future job opportunities.
